Social Impact Progress Update

If you’ve downloaded our app, you know that social impact is a big part of our culture. It’s one thing to write a check (which is great, don’t get us wrong) but we wanted our company to do more than that. We wanted to integrate social impact into our business and platform in unique ways that are both impactful and fun. We’re thankful to be in a position to do that and wanted to give you a quick update on our progress so far.

Back in August, we inked a partnership with Fight For Children (FFC) to integrate social impact into our business in two key ways. The first, by committing to donate money to FFC when new users created an account. Ultimately, the success of our business is heavily tied to bringing new users onto the platform. By committing to donate when new accounts are created, we can ensure that we’re creating positive social impact as the business grows.

We also included FFC in our shop and are empowering users to spend their BettorBucks on a donation to the charity. It’s been awesome to see our early adopters opting to use their BettorBucks on a small donation and sets the stage for more charity shop integrations for the future. These funds will go towards helping FFC execute their mission to improve the lives of underserved youth through the power of team sports and recreation.

None of this would have been possible without the help of Keith Gordon. Keith serves as the CEO of Fight For Children after spending time at the NBA and NFLPA and is also a member of BettorFantasy’s board of advisors.

We also enabled our users to partner themselves with the Mike Evans Family Foundation and the A&A All The Way Foundation. Once a user selects the foundation they wish to partner with, they are challenged to complete in-app activities. BettorFantasy donates to their partner foundation when the challenge is completed. We’re looking forward to continuing to add more foundations for our users to partner with as we move forward!

Finally, we partnered with one of our Launch Team members, Rob, who runs r/charitablebets. To provide some context, our Launch Team members are rewarded with cold hard cash when they recruit early adopters onto the BettorFantasy app. Rob was excited at the opportunity to join the team and opted to have his cash go towards the V Foundation. We’re thrilled this partnership fell into place and can’t thank Rob enough for being part of the team!

We couldn’t be more excited as we look ahead and we’re so thankful you’re here with us. If you have ideas on how we can further tie social impact to our business, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us!

All the best,

The BettorFantasy Team
